ABOUT ME
Born and raised in the Maritimes! I love nature, hunting and fishing, cooking and cheering on my basketball team…Go Raptors! My wife, Tonja, and I met at church camp and the rest is history! We are parents of 4 young boys, Gabriel, Emmanuel, Israel and Ezekiel. We do life and ministry together.
MY JOURNEY
I grew up attending church, but made a commitment to follow Christ at the age of 18. I served as Youth Pastor at Calvary Temple in Saint John NB prior to a full time position as Associate Pastor at Evangel Dartmouth in 2007. After serving for 15 years, I have accepted the call to serve as Lead Pastor of WayPoint Church on September 2022.
I am a graduate of Master’s College and Seminary, and have been involved in ministry since 2002. My heart is to see the lost come to know the fullness they can find in Christ. I strive to cultivate relationships in the church and community and love being a part of Christians rising up as leaders, anointed by God, to change their communities and world with the Gospel.
What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
